ZMF headphones are hand assembled out of premium materials at the ZMF workshop just outside of Chicago, USA. The small team is expertly trained to make unique, heirloom wood headphones but this counts for nothing if the sound isn't there. Fortunately the sound is there and then some. ZMF headphones are widely regarded as some of the best in the world. They even account for 2 out of the just 6 highest rated, A+ headphones in Stereophile's 2020 Recommended Components list.
