DESCRIPTION

HoloAudio “RED” is a Network Streamer with I2S HDMI output supporting up to DSD 1024, plus can be used as DDC (USB to I2S or SPDIF converter).

Employing a Pi Compute Module 4 the RED only uses the Pi4 as core system. It differs from a standard Raspberry Pi because it does not have all peripheral components on board, but has been developed by HoloAudio for optimized audio reproduction. The advantage is that it can be used with a lot of software and is therefore versatile.

FEATURES

  • Pi4 as core but implemented from the ground up to be best for audio.
  • use as a DDC (convert digital USB to digital I2S HDMI, Coax BNC, RCA, Optical or AES/EBU.
  • use as streamer (Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect)
  • use as endpoint (Roon Bridge, NAA HQPlayer, UPnP, AirPlay, Squeezelite, Scream).
  • internal PSU for better integration and highest convenience.
  • great price!
